The day has arrived.

Receiving a package in the mail is pretty exciting, right? Take that excitement, multiply it by 100, and you’ll be near our elation down here in Nicaragua. As consumers, we are used to ordering something one day and getting it the next. We had to wait a little longer here for our package gratification.

Transferring across from the container to the construction truck for delivery!

We ordered a lot of stuff. In December. It started it’s journey in Miami on a dedicated shipping container, traversing the choppy seas, making it to us in Managua (Nicaragua’s capital city and hub) in early February. And then we waited, painstakingly, for the next 5 weeks while all of our amazing and important items sat in customs.

And today it finally arrived in quiet little Escamequita. What’s in the box? The entire fit out for the Model Home, fencing and saddles for the Equestrian Center, and a few bits and bobs for the soon-to-be-started Saloon Bar.

More to come as we unpack and set up – be sure to check out our update on the Model Home (Lot 23) for more photos as it’s build comes to a close!
